DC Bahawalpur visit Ramzan Bazars at Khanqah Sharif and Mubarakpur

Lahore : Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal paid a surprise visit to Ramzan Bazars at Khanqah Sharif and Mubarakpur in District Bahawalpur, her, today.

During his visit Deputy Commissioner thoroughly inspected various stalls of food items which include:- vegetables, fruits, meat, grocery, soft drinks, ghee, oil, sugar, flour, pulses, gram flour. He also inspected price lists and directed that all available resources must be mobilized to ensure the implementation of the price lists to protect the economic rights of the consumers.

Deputy Commissioner Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal directed doctors and paramedics to pay special attention to provide medical aid to the consumers during their visits at the Ramzan Bazars.

“All necessary medicines and operational medical staff was performing their duties with zeal and zest”, Deputy Commissioner was briefed.

Deputy Commissioner weighted the flour bag and checked its quality. He also visited separate counters established for senior citizens and women at the Ramzan Bazar. During his visit Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur Sadar Husnain Khalid Sanpal and Assistant Commissioner Ahmadpur East Abdul Rauf Mahar.
