PTI leaders from Faisalabad join PML-Q

Lahore : A delegation of active N-League and PTI leaders, Nazims, Union Councils Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen from Faisalabad called on Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi at his residence here today (Friday) and announced to join PML.

They included Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI)’s Ch Nabi Ahmad candidate Chairman Union Council Chaudhriwala, Ahmad Gul, Mohammad Bashir, Mohammad Azam, N-League’s Khawar Saeed Randhawa Chak 105 candidate Chairman Union Council Kal Garh, Ch Liaquat Gul, UC Kalra Chak 265, Mahmud Ahmad Bajwa, Ch Majeed Ahmad, Ch Tajammul, Ch Shams, Ch Mohammad Salim, Mohammad Khizer, Ch Abdul Rehman, and Ch Ashraf Gondal among others.

Welcoming active leaders and workers of other parties from different districts continuously joining PML, Ch Parvez Elahi said this is a good omen for the party.

He said PML is organizing workers convention in Faisalabad on May 14 which will be ideal one, Inshallah.

On this occasion, Ch Nabi Ahmad, Ch Liaquat Gul and Khawar Saeed Randhawa said that they and our new colleagues joining the party will play active and effective role in the party under Ch Zaheeruddin leadership and will make this convention a great one and an example for other cities.

They said that the farmers, workers and the poor have realized as to who are rendering real service to the people and those talking loud and making tall claims have also been exposed.

Praising Ch Shujat Hussain, Ch Parvez and Moonis Elahi for showing due respect for the workers, they said this is the only party in which worker is given their his due right whereas in other parties politics of interests is being done.

Ch Parvez Elahi further said on the occasion that as the Chief Minister Punjab development works undertaken by him are unparalleled this is the reason that the people even now remember development works of our tenure.

He said during PML tenure farmer was prosperous and today the farmer is seeing his crops being destroyed, we were more worried about crop than the farmer, we procured every grain of the crop, fertilizers were provided to the farmers at cheap rates, exempted tax on twelve and half acres, the government used to pay half bill of agriculture tubewell, today the farmer, worker and poor people are with both hands praying for us and cursing the present government.
