N-League activists from Gujrat join PML-Q

Lahore : PML-N Important activists Ch Bashir Ahmad and Ch Basharat, considered to be “backbone” of party in Gujrat politics, called on PML-Q former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Ch Wajahat Hussain at their residence and announced to join Pakistan Muslim League along with their supporters thus ending their 50 years long political affiliation with Nawab family of N-League.

N-League candidate for the office of Chairman Ch Bashir Ahmad and for office of Vice-Chairman Ch Basharat from Union Council Lakhanwal Gujrat joined PML along with Ch Mushtaq, Ch Ashraf Mithu, Ch Nazir Mithu, Ch Asghar, Ch Safdar Baloch, Ch Muhammad Ashraf, Ch Muhammad Asghar, Ch Muhammad Ilyas ad Ch Jabbar among several others.

On this occasion former MPA Abdullah Yousuf, Ch Muhammad Inayat, Ch Muhammad Akram, Ch Shakeel, Ch Aftab Sarwar were also present.

Welcoming them in the party fold Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that N-League’s “backbone” joining PML is very welcome development, this will have deep impact on local politics and the party will be further strengthened in Gujrat.

Ch Bashir Ahmad said that we have decided today to end 50 years long affiliation with N-League and joined Ch Shujat Hussain, Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Ch Wajahat Hussain because they are real protectors of honour and prestige of Gujrat and this family has really and practically served the people of Gujrat, peoples welfare works which Ch Pervaiz Elahi had accomplished in Punjab particularly in Gujrat those have not been done by anyone else.
