Lahore : Provincial Sports Minister Jahangir Khanzada said Punjab is the defending champion of Inter Province Quaid e Azam Games and will defend its honour. Trials for games are based on merit, he said during visit to badminton, table tennis, judo, karate, wrestling and wushu camps in Gymnasium Hall Nishtar Park Sports Complex.
He was accompanied by Director General Sports Punjab Zulfiqar Ahmed Ghumman.
DG Sports Punjab said during his talk to media that players from all districts of Punjab are participating in trials, every facility is given to the players and players have been selected on merit and Inshallah our teams will win by continuing our traditions.
Provincial Sports Minister Jahangir Khanzada and Director General Sports Punjab Zulfiqar Ahmed Ghumman visited different trial complexes and checked facilities there and also asked players about the management.
On this event Provincial Sports Minister Jahangir Khanzada said promotion of sports is our mission. Players will be trained by best caches in complexes starting from 26 April so that they can make country and nation proud. Punjab had won title of First Inter Province Quaid e Azam Games and will keep our victory, players should play with hard work, every facility has been provided.
