University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences won Drama and Mime competitions

Lahore : University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences team won All Punjab Drama and Mime competitions on the topic “Peace, Tolerance and Harmony” under the aegis of Provincial Information & Culture Department. The team of Government College University Lahore obtained second position while that of Lahore College for Women University secured third position. Cash prizes of one lakh rupees, Rs. 75 thousand and Rs. 50 thousand were awarded to the winning teams respectively.

University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences team also won mime competition while Punjab University team remained second. The winning teams were given cash prizes of Rs. 50 thousand and Rs. 25 thousand respectively. NCA won the prize of best actor on individual performance, Government College University got the prize of best actress while University of Sargodha got first prize of Assistant Actor while the girl student of Government College University Lahore won the prize of best Assistant Actress. Punjab University won the prize of best comedian, Lahore College for Women University of Villon role, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences achieved best production prize, University of Gujrat technical expertise award, Government College University best set, best makeup and best props awards while University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences secured best scripts award. In mime competitions, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences won best props award, University of Engineering best makeup award and Punjab University obtained best production award. Government College University Lahore team won six awards while University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences five awards.
