Intercollegiate Arts Fest 2017 held at SKZMDC ,Lahore

Lahore : Arts Society of Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Medical & Dental College, Lahore hosted its first ever SKZMDC Intercollegiate Arts Fest ‘17 on 10th April 2017, Monday from 9 am to 4pm. The event was held in Medical College located in the Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex Lahore. The Chief Guest for the event was Chairman & Dean Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex Lahore Prof. Dr. Farid Ahmed Khan.

This event comprised of a Live Arts Competition consisting of On-Spot Sketching, Painting and Photography, an Exhibition consisting of Sketching, Painting and Photography Exhibition, a Pets Show, a GPS based Treasure Hunt, a Fun Booths Section consisting of many games and fun activities and a Food Courts Section consisting of many booths where students sell their home-made food items.

Prof. Dr. Farid Ahmad Khan appreciated the efforts of organizers for organizing 1^st ever Intercollegiate Arts Festival in SKZMDC and said that, these festivals provide a platform for the students where they can show their creative skills which increase their level of self- confidence in every sphere of life.

The Honorable Judges for the competitions were Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, the Deputy Director of the Lahore Arts Council, Dr. Rahat Naveed Masud, Former Principal of the Punjab University College of Arts and Design, Ms. Saira Dar, former Head of Arts Department Aitchison College and Mr. Irfan Ahson, a famous photographer of Pakistan. The event was led by Dr. Haroon Dar Faculty President Arts Society SKZMDC, Shahroze Wajid President of the Arts Fest ’17. This event was attended by Faculty Members of Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex Lahore and more than 500 students participated from different colleges of Pakistan.
