Lahore : IGP Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera retires after reaching the age of superannuation. On the last day of his service, Mushtaq Sukhera met beat reporters and gave awards to different police officers.
The IGP Punjab gave bravery and best performance awards to DIG Amir Zulfiqar Khan ,SSP Admin Lahore Rana Ayaz Saleem , RPO Sargodha Zulfiqar Hameed , DIG Ops Dr Haider Ashraf ,AIG Finance Gazi Salah uddin, AIG Training Kashif Mushtaq Kanjoo ,DPO Khushab Waqas Hassan ,DPO Rahim Yar Khan Zeshan Asghar , DPO Chiniot Mustansar Feroze , DPO Lodhran Asad Sarfraz Khan ,DPO Mandi Bahauddin Omar Farooq Salamat ,DPO Attock Zahid Nawaz Marwat , DPO Chakwal Haroon Joiya ,former SP CRO Lahore Omar Riaz and DPO Bahawalnagar Capt(R) Malik Liaqat Ali.
On the occasion ; Mushtaq Sukhera said that discipline and welfare are the two basic things to run the department , we all have to retire one day so we must do something to be remembered .
