The second phase of census will start in Mandi Bahauddin from April 25

Mandi Bahauddin  (Sher Gondal) : The second phase of 6^th census process will start in Mandi Bahauddin district from April 25 and continue till May 25.

Deputy Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali stated this in a meeting on Thursday. All administrative security arrangements have been made for safe smooth conduct of census.

The district has been divided into 1410 blocks, 195 Circles and 23 charges. He said 705 enumerators, 195 circle supervisors and 23 charge superintendents have been fully trained to carry out census. One enumerator accompanied by army personnel would be responsible for counting houses and population of two blocks. House counting would precede count of population, he told.

The meeting was attended by army officers, Assistant Commissioners of all three tehsils of the district, ADCG, ADCR, DPO and Assistant Director Local Government.

The DC told that census staff would be placed in their respective allocated circles April 23 duly equipped with transport and other required material. Control Room would be set up at district headquarters to control and monitor census activities.
