Rana Sana chairs Cabinet Committee to review the Law & Order situation

Lahore : Cabinet Committee on Law & Order met under the Convenership of Rana Sana ullah Khan to review the Law & Order situation.

The following two issues came under discussion: 1) Sargodha incident in which 20 people murdered at the the shrine 2) Bedian road incident.

The committee discussed the issue of Sargodha killings at length and decide to submit its recommendations to the Chief Minister to take all shrines of Punjab under the fold of Auqaf Department.

Necessary amendments in relevant Laws will also be recommended. In this regard, comprehensive proposal covering all aspects related to the Shrines management and security will be submitted to the CM very soon.

The committee also reviewed the Bedian road incident and it has been decided to wait for the forensic report  ( which is under preparation by the Punjab Forensic Agency).

The committee will again meet tomorrow to discuss the Bedian road incident.
