Motorway Police Facilitation Centers are providing effective help to the road users : IG Shokat Hayat

Lahore : Honesty, Courtesy and Help are basic traits of National Highways & Motorway Police and its Guidance and Facilitation Centers are best example of providing effective help to the road users in distress.

This is said by Shaukat Hayat Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police while inaugurating new Facilitation Centers in N-5 Central Zone at Renala Khurd, Sahiwal, Mian Channu and Khanewal. DIG Central Zone Mirza Faran Baig, SSP N-5 C-I Masroor Aalam Kolachi and DPO Okara Hassan Alvi were also present on the occasion.

IG NH&MP Shaukat Hayat said that Motorway Police is a department which is pride example of its professionalism and public service policies. IG further said that best work can only be done with purity of intentions. The facilitation centers will provide timely and qualitative help to the distressed road users and only reward for this help would be will of Allah Almighty as help to the people is priceless treasure of both this world and world hereafter. These Guidance promote the friendly image of NH&MP and it is step towards community policing as well, he added. He further said it will act as place for journey break for road commuters during long journey on highways.

The IG Shaukat Hayat said that NH&MP is service oriented force and provision of prompt help to the distressed road users is the hallmark of the department. The well-mannered conduct with commuters, courtesy and indiscriminate enforcement of law must be ensured to enhance the image of NH&MP.

IG also lauded the efforts of Zonal Commander DIG Mirza Faran Baig , Sector Commander SSP Masroor Alam and SSP Ghulam Jaffer for establishing state of the art facilitations centers.

DIG Central Zone Mirza Faran Baig said that facilitation centers on national highways are made for convenience of road users as they can use them for refreshment, washrooms facility and rest interval during their journey. These facilitation centers will also best serve as first aid, road safety awareness and community policing centers, he added further
