PPP Lahore secretary General candidate Babar Butt killed on rivalry

 

Lahore : Pakistan Peoples Party local leader Babar Butt killed on rivalry. Manawan Police have registered a case against the accused Atif Butt , Irfan Jatt etc ,and booked PML-N Sohail Shokat Butt, SHO Manawan Nasrullah Chattah for abetment. Police have sent the body for autopsy to city morgue and started investigation.

According to Qaisar Sohail Butt ( the brother of killed Babar Butt) his brother was eating meal in a room at home on Sunday night , when the armed men entered there and opened firing causing severe injuries to his brother and fled away from the scene. Babar Butt was immediately taken to Services Hospital but he could not survived.

Babar Butt was an activist of PPP and had served as a Peoples Youth Organization Punjab secretary General,he was a candidate for PPP Lahore secretary general slot and expected to interviewed by chairman Bilawal Bhutto today on Monday at Bilawal House,Bahria Town.

Babar Butt was involved in many FIRs of murder,illicit arms etc including the killing of cops at Baghbanpura police station but he was bailout by the influence of PPP leadership as he was Advisor to then Governor Punjab late Salman Taseer.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the murder of Babar Butt and sought report from CCPO Lahore.He ordered to form a panel of senior police officers for investigation and directed the arrest of the accused.
