University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences opens beef shop

Lahore : Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin has inaugurated the first ever outlet of beef calf meat outlet, a project of livestock department. Bilal Yasin has said that these shops will help to provide healthy, fresh and full of vitamins beef meat to the citizens.

This project will soon spread to other divisional headquarter, Minister said. Livestock department has also launched 9 mobile shops which operate in different divisional headquarters for selling of beef meat, Bilal expressed these views after inaugurating the outlet while talking to media.

This project is launched with cooperation of Livestock Department and University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Punjab. Vice Chancellor Dr. Talat Pasha has said that this project will help to fulfill the demands of citizens by providing them healthy meat.

DG Livestock Dr. Qurban Hussain has said that the sole purpose to start this project is to provide healthy and full of vitamins meats to the citizen. He said that we hope that this project will get positive results and feedback from the general public. At the first day in three hours more than 850 kg beef were sold out and highly appreciated by the customers.
