Lahore : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting late at night at Integrated Command & Control Center Qarban Lines to review security plan and other arrangements of final match of PSL.
Addressing the meeting, Shehbaz Sharif said that excellent arrangements have been made for final match of Pakistan Super League.
He said that all concerned agencies should spare no effort for the facility of cricket lovers. He said that all out steps should be taken for facilitating those coming to watch the match. He said that besides foolproof security, all other arrangements of final match will also be the best. He said that unprecedented arrangements have been made for this mega event.
Shehbaz Sharif said that 200 girl and boy students of KPK, Baluchistan, Sindh, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan have been invited to see the match who will witness the match as special guest of Punjab government. He said that 25 girl and boy students of Daanish schools and 25 PEF scholars have also been invited to see the match. He said that this event is not only of Lahore but Pakistan which has to be made a success at all costs.
He said that in order to make final match memorable, security plan evolved and other arrangements should be monitored regularly. Best meals should be served to police and officials of other departments deployed on match duty and no complaint be received in this regard.
Additional Chief Secretary Home and Commissioner Lahore Division gave briefings regarding security plan and other arrangements. They told that there will be ban on drone cameras. Proper arrangements of first aid have been made in the stadium while two mobile hospitals will also be available. Besides narrators, alternate arrangements have also been made for smooth flow of traffic. It was told in the briefing that all preparations have been made for free shuttle service.
Provincial Ministers Rana Sanaullah, Rana Mashhood Ahmed, Ayub Gadhi, Chief Secretary, Inspector General Police, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Commissioner Lahore Division and other officials were present on the occasion.
