Lahore : The project of Punjab Institute of Neuro-Sciences would be completed during the current fiscal year. Punjab Specialized Health and Medical Education Department has allocated an amount of Rs.1000.067 million for fiscal year 2016-17 and no lethargy or negligence in connection with completion of the scheme would be tolerated.
This was stated by Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and Lahore General Hospital Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab during a meeting held in connection with review of development works at Lahore General Hospital.
MS LGh Dr Ghulam Sabir and other administrative doctors attended the meeting.
The Principal said that all the neuro- related wards have been shifted to newly constructed Punjab Institute of Neuro-Sciences. He said that PINS would be the best institute of neuro complications in the region.
He said that Punjab Government is closely monitoring all the phases of construction of Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences and we not spare any effort to make PINS a state of the art institute.
Dr. Tayyab also told that up-gradation of all the wards apart from PINS is also being prepared and best available medical facilitates would be provided to the patients coming at LGH.
