Lahore : The PCB National School Cricket Championship has been named Abdul Hafeez Kardar Cup will commence from February 15, 2017 across the country. The tournament will be played in 16 cities which include Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Hyderabad, Larkana, Dera Murad Jamali, Bannu, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Mirpur, and Abbottabad.
In the first phase of the championship, 17 schools across the Lahore city have been divided into four pools in a 35-overs match tournament. (Itinerary attached) After the successful commencement of the championship in all the above mentioned cities, the championship will move towards regional and later to the provincial level.
It is hoped that over 600 schools and 10,000 kids will participate in the first of its kind nationwide exercise.
