National inter-club Weightlifting Championships starts in Lahore

Lahore : National inter-club Weightlifting Championships has started in Lahore.Hafiz Salman Butt (Vice President Pakistan Weightlifting Federation and ex. Member National Assembly) inaugurated the championships and distribute medals among winners of 56 Kg category.

A.R.T Club Lahore is leading on the first day of three days National inter-club Weightlifting Championships on the opening day.

Yosaf Rafiq won the first Gold Medal in 56 Kg Category for A.R.T Club beating Sharjeel Butt of Muslim Health club Lahore in a nail biting competition here at University Grounds Weightlifting Center near Chauburji Lahore. Bismillah Babar from Islamia Sports Club Gujranwala won the Bronze medal.

Weightlifters from  (14 ) clubs of Pakistan are taking part in this three days mega event of Weightlifting in 8 body weight categories.

A great no of audiences is present to witness these competitions.
