Medico Legal Reports are important pieces of evidence : DSJ Rana Nisar

Mandi Bahauddin (Sher Gondal ): District and Sessions Judge Rana Nisar arranged a seminar on medical jurisprudence in Judicial Complex on Saturday. All additional district and sessions judges, magistrates/judges including senior civil judge and medical officers of DHQ hospital attended the seminar.

In his introductory address, DSJ Rana Nisar said the aim of the seminar was to educate judges and add their knowledge on medical jurisprudence.  He said medico legal reports are important pieces of evidence and they help judges to decide criminal cases of murder and body injury.

District Medico Legal Officer Dr Shafique Ahmed and Deputy Medical Superintendent DHQ Hospital Dr Tariq Mahmood in their lectures highlighted various aspects of medical evidence including exhumation and medico legal reports in detail and answered queries of the judicial officers during question answer session at the end of the seminar.
