Anti Corruption Establishment arrest a Patwari in Sialkot

Lahore : Anti Corruption Establishment Punjab, in different raids throughout Punjab, has arrested Sub-Inspectors, ASI, Senior Auditor and a Patwari and sent them jail on judicial remand after recovering amount of gratification.

According to details, Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Sialkot, Atif Shaukat conducted a trap raid on very first day of his posting and arrested Patwari Sarwat of Halka Hundal Sialkot  while taking Rs. 150 thousands bribe from a local person for mutation.

The accused Patwari was nabbed when he visited the residence of the applicant where Circle Officer Atif Shaukat and Magistrate Waqar were already present, impersonating as guests.

Sub Inspector Liaqat Ali, posted as Police Station Sadar Yazman was arrested by Circle Officer ACE Bahawalpur Rao Khalil Ahmad who conducted raid in front of judicial complex under supervision of Sub-Judicial Magistrate Nayyar Mustafa when he was taking Rs. 10 thousands as bribe from a citizen Rai Mohsin Nadeem.

On the direction, of Regional Director ACE Bahawalpur Tariq Bukhari, Senior Auditor Nazakat Hussain Magsi was arrested during a trap raid while taking Rs. 10 thousands as gratification from Munir Ahmed, a resident of Khair Pur Daha.

Anti corruption Muzaffargarh arrested ASI Muhammad Iqbal posted at PS Chowk Sarwar red handed while taking Rs. 10 thousands as gratification. ACE Lahore has registered a case against ASI Tahir, posted at PS Mustafa Town, as allegations of snatching Rs. 120 thousands from a citizen Saleem during body search near Lahore Hotel and registering a fake case against him proved true. Investigation has also been started against Ex SHO Hamza Nawaz Bhatti in similar case.

Anti Corruption Sheikhupura has registered a case against Police Constable Zafar for taking Rs. 3 lakh from Shabbir Hussain, a resident of Shah Pur Kanjran for recruitment in police department while Anti Corruption Khanewal has recovered an amount of Rs. 195 thousands from Ex-Chairman CCB Kabirwala Kazim Hussain and deposited the recovered amount to government account.
