Civil Society lodges complaint to PEMRA against” Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga “

Lahore : The civil society condemn the hatred and defamatory  words used by so called anchor person Amir liaqat hussain in his programme Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga which was,   broadcasted on 21st Jan. 2017 and 23rd Jan 2017 at BOl TV at 10.30pm, in the said programme he has not only instigated the public against social activists , but he has manoeuvred the facts against the demands of civil society he further more provoke the extremists , fundamentalists  that they must attack on us as we committed blasphemy by raising our voice against the disappearance of social activists like Salman Haider.

The civil society never supported any kind of hate speech, the only legal and demands of civil society is the assurance of fair trial to the alleged social activists , Abdullah Malik a human rights activist claimed.

Dr Amir Liaqat also tried to prove that we the members of civil society were agent Of RAW and we are candle vigil brigade( mombati brigade) , he added.

The said anchor also used an abused language against women of media and key note journalists.In his opinion we the members of civil society belong to hatred class and we are not patriot of the country.

The president civil society Network Abdullah Malik said that Dr Amir was ruining the values of moralities without any sense. When we were raising our voice for the workers  BOL TV a few months back ,Dr Amir Liaqat was broadcasting programme against BOL TV.

The PEMRA and intelligence agencies should take serious note against that person as he defaming institutions, we warn  that if  Amir Liaqat Hussain continued his hatred and defamatory programme than we have reserved our right to file a writ against him in the higher courts as its serious violations of the human rights as well as freedom of expression and this type of anchor person must be banned for the whole life.

The civil society has already file a written complaint against Dr. Amir Liaqat Hussain before  the chairman council of complaint PEMRA and the copy of the same is herewith attached.We demand that govt. of Pakistan must take notice of that hater programme as it also violation of National Action Plan as it’s come to under hate speeches , Abdullah Malik concluded.
