PML-N wins the top slots of chairmen and vice chairmen in Mandi Bahauddin

Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal) : PML-N won the top slots of chairmen and vice chairmen of District Council and Municipal Committee Mandi Bahauddin. Elections were held peacefully. Ghulam Hussain Bosal with Vice Presidents Mirza Zubair Beg and Syed Najam ul Hassan nominees of PMLN grabbed 89 out of 104 votes. Remaining 15 votes were secured by Haji Imtiaz who contested election as joint candidate of Kisan Alliance, formed by opposition parties.

However Ghulam Hussain panel had support of PMLQ and Jammat Islami.  Haji Nasar and Rana Sarfraz won the election of MC Mandi Bahauddin as president and vice president respectively.

After announcement of election result, Ghulam Hussain President DC elect and his cousin MNA Nasar Bosal led a victory procession, riding on horses. Procession was participated by thousands of their supporters that in a long cars convoy followed the riders’ squad. The procession started from District Complex and ended in Mandi city.

On the other hand President and vice president elects of the MC, after their election celebrated their victory with Provincial Women Minister Hameeda wahid and former MPA and sitting District President PMLN Divan Mushtaq. Ch Amanullah was already declared Chairmen of MC Phalia unopposed. He belongs to PTI.
