Punjab Information department organizes candlelight vigil at Minar-e-Pakistan

Lahore : Provincial Department for Information and Culture,Punjab has arranged a candlelight vigil at Minar-e-Pakistan on the anniversary of APS Peshawar martyrs to pay them tributes.

It may be mentioned that candles are a symbol of peace and the purpose of this function was to give a message to the enemies of the country that people of Pakistan are more united and strong than ever. One minute’s silence was also observed on this occasion.

Students of different schools, colleges and youth lit the candles. A documentary was also screened at Minar-e-Pakistan in the memory of the martyrs of Army Public School. Later, sky lanterns were also flown.
