Lahore : The First Secretary of Pakistan High Commission in London has asked Overseas Pakistani Commission to redressed the complaint of an Overseas Pakistani Waheed Ahmad.
The man sent his documents through Pakistan High Commission in July and visited Pakistan but he could not get access to the commissioner OPC despite his best efforts and returned to London.
Waheed Ahmad has sought High Commission help for fixing a meeting with Chief Minister Punjab and is ready to visit Pakistan again for meeting with CM Punjab.
Meanwhile ; OPC has claimed that as a result of their efforts , 77 Kanal 8 Marla land, retrieved from the illegal possession of brother has been handed over to American based Overseas Pakistani Lady.
Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti informed in this regard that Pakistani origin American citizen, Kausar Parveen Sherazi filed a complaint with OPC that her younger brother has grabbed property belonging to her and 3 other sisters, Musharraf Batool, Sobia Yousaf and Saeeda Akhtar in Mahal Rakh Yal Wala, District Muzaffargarh.
Afzaal Bhatti told that OPC referred the case to the District Overseas Committee, Muzaffargarh and by collective efforts of OPC and District Committee land was retrieved from the illegal possession of their brother Mansoor jafri, who was also receiving the rent from the said property for the last one year.
Commissioner OPC further said that OPC is vigorously pursuing the cases of Overseas Pakistanis and expats can contact OPC for resolution of their problems.
