Sindh Agriculture University students visit Punjab University

Lahore : A group of 50 girls from different departments of Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam visited Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Sciences. The visit was a part of All Pakistan Students Study Tour to different universities/degree awarding institutes.

The students were accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Javed Sheikh, Assistant Professor, Department of Rural Sociology and Dr. Shahla Baloch, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology as tour coordinators.

Teachers of the institute including Dr. Sajid Ali, Dr. Shahbaz Ahmad and Waheed Anwar welcomed the delegations.

Director Institute of Agricultural Sciences Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Haider addressed briefed the student about the department.

During his address, he emphasized the importance of inter departmental and inter university collaboration and assured the students and teachers of the visiting party for any kind of scientific help at his capacity.

The group visited different laboratories, sections and research in the guidance of the above mentioned teachers. Different research groups working in different laboratories of the institute elaborated their ongoing and completed projects to the students.
