Lahore : Punjab University has awarded four PhD degrees to the scholars in which Muhammad Waseem Qureshi S/o Raza Muhammad Qureshi in the subject of Arabic after approval of his thesis entitled “Arabic Quranic Literature in Pakistan (An Analytical Study)”, Mahmood Ahmad S/o Muhammad Yasin in the subject of Arabic after approval of his thesis entitled “Critical Study and Editing of Manuscript Sharh Al Marah Fi Al Tasreef: By Al Sheikh Mehdi Al Hanafi Al Khushabi”, Muhammad Afzal S/o Umar Din in the subject of Persian after approval of his thesis entitled “Editing and Annotation of “Chahar Sharbat” By Mirza Muhammad Hassan Qateel with A Preface on Evaluation of the Writer’s Status as Persian Prose Writer and Analysis of Contents and Style of the Book” and Isma Younes D/o Muhammad Younes in the subject of Geography after approval of her thesis entitled “Spatial Patterns and Effects of Public Water Supply System on Human Health in Lahore”.
