Jinnah hospital and Children Hospital cafeterias fined for selling substandard food

Rafia Haider-director-operations-food-authorityLahore : Director operations Rafia Haider conducted a raid on cafeteria of Lahore Children Hospital and imposed a fine of 5000 rupees on provision of substandard food and directed for improvement, while imposed a fine of Rs. 15000 to the cafeterias of Jinnah hospital and Allama Iqbal Medical College for using dirty eggs and expired nutrients.

Allama Iqbal Town Team sealed Chishti Bakery Sabzazar on presence of spider nets on eatable items and poor physical cleanliness condition. Data Gunj Bakhsh Team sealed Gorcy Bakery on using fake labels and expired edible items.

Nishter Town Team sealed Sahil Frozen Foods Unit Green Town on poor cleanliness condition. Ravi Town Team sealed Shafiq Bakery Shahdra on production near washroom and non-presence of license of Food Authority license. Wahga Town Team imposed a fine of Rs. 3000 and 7500 to Butt Dahi Bhally Jallo Moor and Shama Kariana Store on the presence of waste milk in production area and poor hygienic arrangements.

Aziz Bhatti Town Team imposed a fine of Rs. 5000 to Acha Gujjar Milk Shop on presence of dirty milk in the freezer while Rs. 20000 to Pak Sherin Sweets on using substandard nutrients and poor hygiene arrangements and issued warning for improvement in seven days.

Samnabad Team imposed a fine of Rs. 5000 and Rs.6000 to Anees Bakery Ghazali Road and Rana Dildar Sweets Ayubia Market respectively. Rawalpindi Team imposed a fine of Rs. 70000 to Billa Tikka House Syed Pur Road and Rs. 15000 each to Refreshment Centre and Almiraj Chicken Shop on not coming up to the standard of quality fixed by Food Authority.

DDO Rawalpindi Fariha Anwar sealed Fresco Sweets Production Unit and Outlet Murree Road on the production and sale of substandard, expired and unhealthy.
