General Raheel Sharif’s farewell meetings ends a period of uncertainty : Siraj ul Haq

Lahore : Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the Army Chief General Raheel Sharif’s farewell meetings were appreciable and a good omen for the country and the nation as had brought a period of uncertainty to an end.

In a statement here on Monday, he said the nation saluted General Raheel Sharif’s foresight who adopted a bold policy not only to save the country from numerous internal threats but also foiled India’s war designs.

Sirajul Haq said that General Raheel Sharif had set best example by earning a place for himself in the minds and hearts of the masses through his frequent movements. He said that the heads of all state institutions should take Gen. Raheel as a model in this respect. Instead of relying on an individual, we should depend on the collective wisdom as the policies of a single individual in politics had always created problems.
