Data Gunj Bakhsh Town while taking action recovered 240 kg meat of dead animals from a vehicle number STB 2524 at Jail Road and handed over the persons present in the vehicle to police after getting registered an FIR against them with Police Station Shadman while the meat was sent for analysis to PAMCO.

Moreover, DG Food Authority Noor ul Amin Mengal said that healthy Punjab is our mission. He said that those selling substandard, poor quality, unhealthy and expired food are enemy of the nation and deserve no leniency. He said that Punjab Food Authority will extend its scope to every city of the province. Faisalabad office has started working while Gujranwala office will be inaugurated formally today, he added.
