PHF suspends Zahir Shah, secretary KPK Hockey Association

Lahore : Zahir Shah, secretary KPK Hockey Association and Peshawar’s representative to the PHF, has

been suspended from any hockey related activity by a PHF directive.

PHF has taken a serious note of Zahir Shah’s unwarranted activities in the KPK’s hockey affairs.

A number of complaints were received from KPK that Zahir Shah is hindering the smooth conduct of hockey activities in the province.

PHF formed a disciplinary/scrutiny committee in line with its constitution to look into the matter.

As per the  preliminary findings  of the committee, Zahir Shah has been  found involved in the violation of the PHF constitution, IOC Charter,National Sports Policy, National Inter Club Tournament’s bylaws plus bringing bad name to the PHF.

Based on these findings, Zahir Shah has been suspended from his offices of the secretary KPK Hockey Association and  Peshawar’s representative to the PHF.

Therefore, all are requested to stop any PHF related correspondence with Zahir Shah until any further notification from the Pakistan Hockey Federation.
