ETPB asks Sheikh Rashid to evacuate ‘Lal Havelli’

Lahore : Evacuee Trust Property Board has issued a notice to Sheikh Rashid stating to leave 10 marlas land of Lal Haveli.

The notification stated that Sheikh Rashid’s hold on Lal Haveli’s portion is illegal. Chairman of the board Sadiq Al Farooq said that the hold on the area must be relinquished within 15 days.

The chairman said that the land was taken during Musharraf’s tenure.

Sheikh Rashid, however, refused to back down and said that ‘nobody can make him evacuate the portion’. He said that Lal Havelli is his personal property and his hold on the property isn’t illegal.
