Ch Pervaiz Elahi & Sheikh Rashid Ahmad holds meeting over Islamabad sit-in

Lahore : PML-Q senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi held a meeting with Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad in the Parliament House in Islamabad and exchanged views about contacts for other opposition parties participation in November 2 sit-in.

Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that the objective of the sit-in is to get the country rid of present monarchy and corruption system for which all opposition parties participation is essential, presently entire nation is under heavy burden of debt because of wrong decisions of one family. and the debt is further increasing.

Earlier Ch Pervaiz Elahi participated in the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and questioned as to why PIA has suspended its flights for Barcelona, Spain. Emphasizing on early restoration of these flights he said thousands of Pakistanis travelling there are facing lot of difficulties and PIA has never suffered loss on this route. On this, the airlines officials said that in December two weekly flights will be started for Barcelona.
