Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman met Punjab Chief Minister

maulana-fazal-ur-rehman-met-punjab-chief-ministerLahore : Head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today. Matters of mutual interest and political situation of the country were discussed during the meeting. Both the leaders termed announcement to lockdown Islamabad as undemocratic and unconstitutional.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said that announcement to lockdown Islamabad is an open enmity to Pakistan and 18 crore people. He said that after acceptance of the demand of opposition to proceed PANAMA case to Supreme Court and starting its hearing, there is no political and moral justification to protest on roads. He said that continuing protests after starting of hearing in the court is to pressurize Supreme Court for taking the decision of their own will. He said that Imran Khan should not take revenge of his repeated defeats from the people and added that no conscious Pakistani will support such undemocratic and un-constitutional steps. He said that Imran Khan should take pity on the nation and display positive democratic attitude.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that those intending to lockdown Islamabad want to stop the journey of speedy progress. He said that those indulging in negative politics are out to snatch the joys of 18 crore people by closing CPEC. These defeated elements are afraid of end to their politics with the completion of speedy development projects, he added.

Shahbaz Sharif said that those indulging in the politics of chaos by lockdown of Islamabad want to defame Pakistan through their show but the enemies of development have been exposed to conscious Pakistani people and nation will not become a part of any such show.

Federal Minister Akram Khan Durrani and Amir Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Punjab Atiq-ur-Rehman were also present on the occasion.
