Lahore :Hundreds of students of 1st year have protested outside Lahore Press Club and later outside Punjab Assembly to register their complaints against the marking system of the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Lahore.
The protesters chanted slogans against the authorities for not addressing the complaints regarding marking of the papers. They created mess outside Lahore Press Club and later marched towards Punjab Assembly and gave sit-in at the Mall resulting worst traffic jam in the city.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the protest of students with regard to 1st year examination of intermediate. He directed Secretary Higher Education to thoroughly probe the matter and submit a report.
