93 percent of land records in Mandi Bahauddin have been completed : ADC Afzaal Warraich

Mandi Bahauddin (Sher Gondal) : In the meanwhile Additional District Collector Afzaal Warraich held a meeting with revenue officers where he was told that 93 percent of land records in the district have been completed.

He was further told that that land of 106 villages of Mandi, 219 of Phalia and 79 of Malikwal tehsils have been completed and officially attested/affirmed.

The ADC directed revenue officers of the tehsils to complete the remaining land records of their respective tehsils after resolving the issue Khewet Blocks. Regarding recovery of revenue, the revenue officers in their briefings told that up to 31 July Rs 98 lakh and twenty two thousand of stamp duty, 83 lakh and 2 thousand registration fees and 33 lakh capital value taxes have been recovered.

ADC stressed on transparent process of recovery of arrears.  Assistant Commissioners, Tehsildars of all three tehsils and officer in charge of Arazi Record Centre attended the meeting.
