Mirza Tanvir Baig was the JI candidate for Chairmanship in Yakki gate UC falling in the NA constituency of Hamza Shahbaz, in the local bodies election last year. He was gunned down by two motorcyclists yesterday after he had appeared in the murder case of two PTI workers who were shot dead in his office by some hooligans a few days before the local bodies polls.
