5% additional tax imposed on events at marriage halls

Lahore : FBR has introduced a new policy regarding advance tax collection as  5% tax would be included in the overall budget on the organising of events in marriage halls, clubs and hotels.

Federal Bureau of Revenue also announced that the families of the bride and groom will have to pay additional tax over the gifts received to the newly-weds.
