Lahore : Provincial Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that no organized group is involved in the incidents of missing of children however, the incidents reported are of individual nature. Such incidents are deplorable for the parents however, it is necessary to see these incidents in the correct prospective. On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister, efforts are being made by law enforcement agencies for controlling the incidents of missing of children.
He was briefing senior columnists and TV anchors about the incidents regarding missing of children in Punajb at 90 Shara-e-Quaid-e-Azam, here today. Advisor to Chief Minister Rana Maqbool, Chairperson Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Saba Sadiq, Secretary Home Azam Suleman and CCPO Lahore were also present on the occasion.
Rana Sanaullah said that government realizes the agony of parents of missing children. He said that government will make every effort for the recovery of missing children. He said that majority of the incidents regarding missing of children include ran away of the children from homes. He said it is a social problem, for which, parents and teachers will have to play their active role.
Rana Sanaullah said that media can play an important role in highlighting this social issue. He said that the environment of fear can be reduced by telling the facts to the people in this regard. Earlier, AIG Operation gave a presentation regarding incidents of missing of children to the participants of the meeting.
