Ex-Servicemen to celebrate Independence Day with enthusiasm

Mandi Bahauddin( Sher Gondal ) : Ex-servicemen will celebrate Independence Day enhanced vigor and enthusiasm. This was decided in a Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society (PESS) Executive body meeting held here at DASB Camp Office on Friday.

It was decided that ex-servicemen residing in rural areas would celebrate the day in their respective villages to highlight Pakistan Movement and pay homage to our forefathers for their struggle and sacrifices to create Pakistan.

Mandi city and its surrounding area ex-servicemen will gather at committee Bagh and join the celebrations organized by district administration. Thereafter they will hold a separate rally to express solidarity with their serving brethren in fight against terrorism.

Old veterans will highlight philosophy of Shahadat and pay tributes to soldiers including all those martyrs who laid down their lives in defence of homeland
