PPP workers convention held at Mandi Bahauddin to reorganize the party in the district

Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal) : PPP workers convention was held here at a local marriage hall the other day to reorganize PPP in the district.

PPP Central Punjab Coordination Committee members former Prime Minister Raja Pervez, Rana Farooq Ahmed Khan, Chaudhry Manzoor, Nadeem Kaira and PPP local leaders including former MNAs, MPAs and office bearers in the district participated in the convention.

Addressing the convention Raja Pervez said PANAMA leaks had exposed Nawaz Sharif for his dual character and hiding his wealth invested in foreign companies to avoid tax. Despite paying circular debt of 480 arab, he could not fulfill his promise of ending power load shedding. His other promises made during election campaign still remained unfulfilled.

He said it is gross injustice to people of Mandi Bahauddin who now face load shedding of 18 to 22 hours daily. He said PPP had planned to launch protest to demand accountability of Nawaz Sharif after completing reorganization of the party in Punjab. He said it was matter of great pleasure for him to see high morale and enthusiasm of party workers in this district.

Referring to reorganizing party he said the team was visiting all districts of Central Punjab to contact party workers and consult them for appointing new office bearers in districts. He said today’s convention was a part of the same campaign. He said recommended names of party appointments would be sent to PPP Chairman for final approval.

Convention was addressed by other leaders that included Nazar Gondal, Ch Muhammad Aslam, Asif Bhagat, Tariq Sahi, Nadeem Chun, Nadeem Kaira, Rana Farooq, Ch Manzoor.
