Police is responsible for kidnapping of the children : Supreme Court

Lahore : Mr justice Saqib Nisar of Supreme Court of Pakistan has said that police is responsible for recovery of the abducted kids as it is the primary duty of the police to control crimes.

While hearing of the children kidnapping cases in the province of Punjab, Justice Saqib Nisar commented that it was awful that police yet to define the reason of the kidnapping and had not traced the gang involved in this heinous crime.The kidnappers gang had not formed in a day,it was pity that the state does not know why children were being abducted,he maintained.

The court said that we want to end the pain of the parents by the safe recovery of the abducted children.During the proceeding ,a senior civil judge of Rawalakot Yosaf Haroon burst into tears while stating the case of his son’s kidnapping and said that he was pursuing the case for 2 years but police was not listening him.

The court expressed satisfaction over the activeness of the police to stop children’s abduction and directed for the safe recovery of the kids at the earliest.

Asma Jahangir stated that police lodged fake cases against the kids,we appear for their bail but the guarantors happened to be criminals.
