Professor Sajid Mir calls on Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore : Leader of Jamiat Ahle Hadees Pakistan Senator Professor Sajid Mir met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, here today. Matters of mutual interest and situation in the country were discussed in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Pakistan is moving towards progress, prosperity and peace under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the goal of national progress and prosperity will be achieved. He said that a lot of work has been done during last three years for coping with the challenges faced by the country.

He said that the decisions taken with collective wisdom are yielding positive results. He said that political and military leadership as well as masses have jointly controlled terrorism and effective measures have been taken under National Action Plan for rooting out the menace of terrorism. He said that a decisive war is being fought successfully for eliminating terrorism.

The Chief Minister said that 18 crore people of Pakistan are determined to root out terrorism and extremism and no effort will be spared for restoring peace in the country. He said that there is a need for promoting love, brotherhood and tolerance in the society and political forces will have to play a positive role for dealing with the challenges being faced by the country. He said that present situation demands complete unity and cohesion.

Hafiz Abdul Karim MNA and Amir Baitul Maal Salman Mangla were also present on the occasion.
