The first 5-day International Conference on Culture starts in Lahore

Lahore : The first 5-day International Conference on Culture started at a local hotel today. Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan inaugurated the event.

The conference arranged by Youth Revolution Clan is being attended by delegates from Australia, France, Spain, Sri Lanka, China and Oman.

Australian High Commissioner Mrs. Margaret Adamson and Commissioner Lahore Abdullah Khan Sumbal were also present on the occasion.

Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan distributed souvenirs among the foreign delegates. Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan said that Pakistan has a rich culture and the government through exchange of delegations at public level is introducing the centuries-old culture and civilization of the country at international level. He said that promotion of contacts at public level results in peace and brotherhood. He said that Pakistani youth are very talented and proved their abilities in different fields. He further

said that conference will play an important role in introducing the culture of Punjab especially Lahore at world level. He said that the conference will also be arranged at Lahore Museum and PILAC.
