Alia Islam secures 1st position in 3rd year-General Nursing

Mandi Bahauddin ( Sher Gondal) : Nursing School, DHQ Hospital Mandi Bahauddin student Alia Islam Choudhary obtained first position in 3^rd year-General Nursing exam conducted by Nursing Examination Board, Punjab, securing 399 marks. Second and third positions were grabbed by Muqadas Rasheed DHQ Hospital Mianwali and Nadia Aziz DHQ Hospital Mirpur (AK) securing 388 and 387 marks respectively. Alia is resident of Phalia Amir, Phalia. Residents of Mohallah congratulated the student on her topping the exam. Speaking on the occasion she said her success in the exam was the result of his parents’ prayers and her teachers who taught and guided the students including her in the best manner with dedication.

Meanwhile ; One died, 10 injured in a clash between two groups over speed breaker on road. According to details Shahbaz Gujar was raising speed breaker on road in village Noor Jamal in precincts of Pahrianwali police. In the meantime Noor Muhammad, from opponent party came who stopped him to do so. Exchange of hard words followed and their supporters reached the spot and started firing at each other. Shahbaz died on the spot while 10 from both the parties were injured. On information DSP Phalia and SHO Pahrianwali reached and moved the dead body and injured to THQ Hospital Phalia for post mortem and treatment. Police registered FIR and further investigation in progress.
