Lahore : Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Friday strongly condemned the attack in Nice, France in which precious lives were lost and scores were injured. “Our hearts and prayers are with the victims of the attack and their families,” the Prime Minister said according to a statement issued here
by the PM’s Office.
The Prime Minister prayed for the swift recovery of those injured during the attack.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said the government and people of Pakistan were deeply saddened over the attack and stood in complete solidarity with the government and people of France at this tragic moment. “Being the frontline state in the war against terror, Pakistan itself has suffered immensely and has seen a series of tragedies. We share the pain and grief of French people at this critical juncture,” said the Prime Minister.
Reiterating Pakistan’s condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan stands firm against every act of terror wherever it is perpetrated.
Meanwhile ; The Federal Cabinet on Friday condemned the terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Bangladesh, Indonesia,and France and expressed grief over the loss of precious lives.
Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry briefed the Cabinet on situation in Kashmir.
The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
The Cabinet also offered prayers for late Abdul Sattar Edhi, Amjad Sabri and the Kashmiri martyrs.
