Ishaq Dar presides meeting of the Laws Review Committee

Lahore : Finance Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar chaired meeting of the Laws Review Committee at Governor House, Lahore.

As its regular agenda, the meeting reviewed different bills which are to be laid before the parliament for discussion and enactment. The meeting also discussed various proposals aimed at expediting process of legislation in future.

Finance Minister on the occasion also shared with the committee an update on the process regarding appointment of members of Election Commission of Pakistan.

Minister for Law, Zahid Hamid, Minister for Information Technology, Anusha Rehman, Special Assistant to Prime Minister, Barrister Zafarullah Khan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Khawaja Zaheer Ahmed and Salman Aslam Butt attended the meeting.
