India forcing innocent youth to take up arms by killing Burhan: Malik Abrar

Lahore : Chairman National Assembly Standing Committee on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Malik Abrar Ahmed Wednesday said brutal Indian forces, by killing Kashmiri leaders like Burhan
Wani, were compelling innocent youth to take up arms for their legitimate right to self-determination in Occupied Kashmir.
He urged the international community for taking immediate notice of the killings of Kashmiri leader Burhan Wani and others in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) by the Indian military and paramilitary forces.
Talking to APP, he said Burhan Wani was known for utilizing social media for promotion of freedom struggle and motivating youth to play their due role in getting freedom from Indian bondage.
Malik Abrar said people of Kashmir wanted to get their right to self-determination as per the resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council.

While India was consistently carrying out massive human rights violations to suppress them, leaving no option for them, other than the armed struggle, he added.

The use of excessive force against innocent civilians protesting peacefully over extra-judicial killings, he said, was highly deplorable and a blatant violation of the rights to life, freedom of expression and opinion, peaceful protest, peaceful assembly and other fundamental rights.
Syed Kafayat Hussain, a leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), told APP that Kashmir freedom movement had been passed on to the next generation with martyrdom of Burhan Wani.

He said people of Kashmir neither accepted the Indian rule in IHK nor they would accept it in future in any circumstances, adding that Kashmiris resolve was clear from the struggle continuing for past several
decades.
The APHC leader said Burhan Wani created awareness among Kashmiri youth about their rights using social media in a most effective manner and now the indigenous freedom movement had got further strength.
Commenting on the killing of Burhan Wani, Founding President of Islamabad High Court Bar Association Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf Gujjar termed the massacre of innocent and unarmed Kashmiri people by Indian forces a ‘war crime’.

He said India would never succeed to repress the indigenous movement of Kashmiris, even if it doubles number of its forces from 700,000 to 1400,000. India has lost its hold over Kashmir and now in every valley, hamlet and neighbourhood Kashmiris are waving Pakistani flags in a sign of abandoning India and its terrorist leaders, he added.
