DCO Bahawalpur visits public places to check security arrangements

Lahore : DCO Bahawalpur Dr Ehtisham Anwar Mahar paid a surprise visit to check security arrangements at different public places of Bahawalpur City.

During his visit to check security arrangements the DCO visited Bahawalpur zoo; Ladies Park; Chowk Saraiki; Daewoo terminal and dring stadium. He thoroughly inspected the operational status of installed walk through gates; CCTV cameras and application of metal detectors for security surveillance at these public places and bus terminal.

On this occasion Dr Ehtisham Anwar admonished the administrative and security officials of the Daewoo terminal for inadequate and improper security arrangements at Daewoo terminal. He directed them to pay special attention for stringent security surveillance of the passengers and cargo to ensure fool proof security both of the passengers and the bus terminal.

He warned that strict action would be initiated against the violators of government of Punjab’s approved standard operational procedure regarding security arrangements.
