Firing on Moon night would be dealt with severely : DPO Khalid Bashir Cheema

Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal) : DPO Khalid Bashir Cheema has said Eid prayers congregations will be held at 1300 places including 886 mosques, 25 Imambargahs, 29 Eidgahs across the district. 4 DSPs, 10 Inspectors, 40 Sub Inspectors 57 ASIs, 75 Head Constables, 540 Constables, 200 Volunteers and mosques security guards would perform security duties.

He was talking to media persons the other day at his office. He said 5 places have been declared as sensitive. Police mobiles will remain on move to meet any untoward incident. The DPO asked people not to resort firing on Moon night and avoid involvement any other negative activities that might create law and order situation.

He said this should be taken as warning and any one found firing or indulging in anti peace activities would be dealt with severely. He also asked people to keep an eye over anti social elements and if there is any doubtful person that should be reported to nearby police station.
