Lahore: Provincial Ministers, Secretaries and district administration paid surprise visits to Ramadan Bazaars throughout the province.
Provincial Minister for Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sandhu visited Jinnah Colony Kaleem Shaheed Park Ramadan bazaars in Faisalabad. He checked quality and weight of edible items and said that all out facilities have been provided to the people in Ramadan bazaars.
Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin visited Shadman, Karim Park, Islampura and Gulshan Ravi Ramadan bazaars in Lahore. He expressed satisfaction over the facilities in Ramadan bazaars and said that provision of relief to the common man is top priority of the government.
Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed ud Din visited Ramadan bazaars in Malakwal, Phalia and Mauza Rukan in Mandi Bahauddin district. She inspected register complaints placed at complaint cell and issued directions for immediate action against the complaints.
Secretary Livestock Naseem Sadiq visited various Ramadan bazaars of Bahawalpur. He inspected quality of fruits, vegetables and other daily use items. He directed district administration to take effective steps for saving meat and poultry products from heat.
DCO Faisalabad Salman Ghani imposed a fine of Rs. 27 thousand to 15 profiteers in different areas of Faisalabad.
Price Control Magistrate Faisalabad imposed fine for poor cleanliness arrangements and sale of unhygienic meat at hotels, chicken and beef shops at Daewoo Adda Road, Lasani Pulli and other areas.
Moreover, Commissioners and DCOs of various districts checked quality and prices of daily use items in Ramadan bazaars in their concerned districts.
