Lahore: PML-Q central leader Ch Shafay Hussain distributed memorial shields among the families of army jawans who embraced martyrdom in Zarb-e-Azb operation at Alhamra Arts Council yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, Ch Shafay Hussain said the entire nation is grateful to the Pak Army for writing number of chapters of chivalry, courage, commitment and determination in the Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
He said the most toughest war of the world is being fought in South and North Waziristan in which Pak Army has achieved its objectives due to great professional capabilities, Insha-Allah the army will continue playing its role till elimination of last terrorist to make the country haven of security and peace.
Ch Shafay Hussain said while the Pak Army is presenting its best role, the present govt has failed to provide relief to the people, health is in the worst condition where medicines are not available and four patients are lying on one bed in the hospitals, l the govt should utilize public money on peoples welfare and well-being instead of spending it on baseless projects.
He said that 70 per cent economy is linked with agriculture but this govt has destroyed the farmers, fertilizers, seed and electricity bills are getting out of reach of the farmers, the rulers should set their intention right and construct small dams in the country which would not only save the people from devastation of floods but barren land will also become in habitat and electricity will come, one small dam can be constructed in three years.
Afterwards, Ch Shafay Hussain held exclusive meeting with the martyrs families and paid them rich tributes.
