Qadri & family have two dozen properties in London, Toronto and France : Rana Sana

Rana Sana Ullah KhanLahore: Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah has said that leader of Awami Tehrik Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and his family members have about two dozen properties in London, Toronto and France due to offshore companies.

He said that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and his sons Hassan Mohyuddin and Hussain Mohyuddin own 13 properties in London, which are controlled by different persons. He said that Minhaj Center on Rome Ford Road in East London is the property of a trust, which is controlled by Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and his family and its value is about eight million pounds.

Rana Sanaullah said that seven months ago, Tahir-ul-Qadri purchased Barclay Bank at the corner which is controlled by Hassan Mohyuddin, Hussain Mohyuddin and his wife. The value of this property is 5.8 million pounds. Planning is being made to convert six flats of Minhaj-ul-Quran into residential complex and permission has been acquired from local commission in this regard.

It has been revealed that Tahir-ul-Qadri purchased bank property through offshore company of Iceland to evade tax and the purpose was to convert the bank into a profitable property.

He said that in order to come to Pakistan Tahir-ul-Qadri left Canada for London in the first week of Ramadan and he finalized deal for purchasing the block of flats adjacent to Minhaj Center which was purchased in the name of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri.

He further said that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri lives in two houses in London which are worth about two million pounds and are in the name of wife of Hassan Mohyuddin. Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has set up centers in all big cities of Britain which are the property of charity and trust controlled by the family of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri.

Before living for Pakistan on June 14, Tahir-ul-Qadri met his accountant in London and discussed his three offshore companies which were used for buying properties in France. These properties include a palace and a mansion in the suburban areas of France, seven properties in Denmark, one in Belgium and four in Canada where Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri lives.

Rana Sanaullah further said that the ownership of properties in Canada is through offshore companies and it also include a mansion worth six million dollars where Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is staying.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri also owns a hotel in Toronto which is run by his younger son and his wife. A shopping mall, in the center of Toronto, is owned by Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and his family members. He said that Tahir-ul-Qadri owns properties worth 42 million dollars. Sources of Pakistan Awami Tehrik have revealed that Tahir-ul-Qadri before leaving for Pakistan held meetings with senior officials of Canadian and British foreign ministries. These meetings were highly confidential and only family members of Tahir-ul-Qadri were present.
